It feels nice as I like some weight on guitars or they feel like toys, my sx callisto is about 7,5lbs it feels like a toy in my hands today compared to this 3200 or the 3100 at 10lbs. I love the weight and I was in fear that if I did the exchange out I would get a boat anchor on the exchange lol. feels more like a schecter, ibanez ,esp neck than the 3100. It does feel thinner or maybe the thickness of the poly is thinner on the 3200. Its def thinner than the 3100, it says on rondo site that 31 are both 19.5mm at 1st fret, id say this is 19mm at 1st fret at most but I havent measured it yet.

Yeah it worked out great really hard to tell it was buffed out and its on the treble side so you never really see it. It took literally 30 days to get here from Massachusetts to NY. How are you liking the neck? It was a bit too thin for my tastes, but others either view it as an advantage or didn't even notice. I've never heard of these lighter than 9 pounds, so it sounds like a keeper. It always rankles with me when people advocate doing the deal off Reverb and try to justify it by saying Reverb charge too much so it's ok but really, if you don't approve of the fees don't use their service.I'm glad it worked out for you on both the refund and (more importantly) getting a kick ash guitar. You can always do the deal off Reverb and not pay the fee but it's not honest - if they connected you with the buyer they deserve a cut.
Buyer Beware, no customer service what so ever. When you end the listing they'll ask if you sold it to someone who found you on Reverb and when you tick yes they'll invoice you for the commission. Messaged the seller Chriss Guitar Shop in Seattle and Reverb for a refund, got no response from either. The other way to do it is to take cash/bank transfer from the seller then tell Reverb you did the deal, so you'll pay the commission to them separately. Don't let someone rush you, I was at pains with this guy to say I'm not leaving with it until you're happy and that's how it should be.
I did it once before and there was a slight issue with PayPal where I had to tick something in Paypal to say collected, so I'd try to complete every stage while you're together just to make sure everything's gone through and you've got the funds. After I'd checked out the guitar, I completed the transaction on Reverb on my phone, there was an option on Reverb for him to say collected in person, I also left positive feedback then and there saying 'just collected this, thanks for a pleasant transaction' so had there been any issue it'd be a bit hard for me to turn around and say I didn't have the guitar. I did this recently, saw a guitar with collection only that I really wanted to look over before committing. But what other conditions?ĭo I insist on cash only? (Like back in the day) Or what other alternatives are there with Reverb?ĭo i insist that he must mark on his App as "Sold" before I hand over the guitar?Īnd what do I need to do to ensure that the Sale is Final and he can't bring it back for any reason? I have nothing to hide and I'm willing to let him fully inspect it before he buys. What needs to be done to make this happen? Obviously the sale needs to be marked as "Local Pickup Only". Just like back in the old "Trader" newspaper days. If I were to sell this on, I'd like to do so on the condition that the buyer would come to my house, inspect and play it, and if he agreed it was suitable (mods and all) he would buy it and the Sale would be Final. Mainly I swapped out the low impedance pickups for humbuckers (a common mod) and some other things.
